Hey guys, this is Jeff, owner of Commence Fitness personal Training in Southington, and Sorta Healthy Trainer Education. Sorta Healthy Eats, the series where I show you how to go out, eat, and have fun, while also not completely destroying your diet is back.
Today, we're at Viron Rondo, easily the most popular restaurant in the Southington/Cheshire area. We are focusing on four things in particular for this meal.
One, if you know you're gonna eat a bigger meal at dinner, plan the rest of the day around it. I walked almost 15,000 steps this day and ate relatively light meals for breakfast and lunch.
Two, only get one drink and sip it slowly. I got an old fashioned and Alexis got some pear martini thing. Both were good.
Three, maximize veggies and protein. There's not an abundance of carbs out here, not that carbs are bad, they're just easier to overeat.
Four, if you eat a little too much, we probably did here, don't let it affect tomorrow. One not so good meal really doesn't do too much damage, but multiple ones will.
Anyways, Viron Rondo is always a good pick In this area, we got the Toscana salad, shishito peppers, meatballs, and shared everything.
