Fancy Bagel, Southington, CT | Jeff and Alexis Of Commence Fitness Personal Training have Bagels in Southington

Today we are at Fancy Bagel, a Southington, CT staple. Because sometimes you’re out and about and you need a breakfast sandwich. Follow these three steps to make that sandwich at least sorta healthy.


One, get egg whites instead of whole egg. Egg yolks are fine but going for just the egg whites cuts down on calories a fair bit. Also, in my opinion, removing those egg yolks really doesn’t change the taste of the sandwich too much.


Two, get turkey sausage or ham instead of bacon or regular sausage. This keeps the protein high but reduces the overall calories.


Three, either don’t get cheese or get a lower calorie bagel. I did get cheese on my sandwich but got a smaller, sourdough bagel. Alexis skipped the cheese but got an Asiago bagel.


I will concede that Alexis’s sandwich was better this time around. Both were good though! Fancy Bagel never disappoints!
